Music Hydroponics

Hydroponics is an instrumental folk project created by Pete Wall. The band features Pete on guitar, David Burns on percussion, Angus Bruce on Keys and Alex Finlay on double bass. The outfit combines their collective backgrounds in folk, classical, jazz, funk, indie and pop with a laid back feel, resulting in a playful sound and an intoxicatingly joyful live show. Hydroponics played their first live show in December 2022, supporting jazz-fusion band Mahuki, before playing at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (DKOS stage) for Celtic Connections in January 2023. Spurred on by the warm reception at both of these shows, the band is planning more live shows for 2023, whilst recording their debut EP, Don’t Overwater
