Music Honza Kourimsky Trio

Expect popular songs from the 1920s all the way up to late 1970s jazz funk and a wonderful ambience. These up-and-coming musicians are active contributors to the new wave of Scottish jazz and bring an energetic crowd to wherever they play.

Honza Kourimsky is a Czech-born jazz guitarist, composer and artist manager based in Leith, Scotland. He has previously toured with the Glasgow-based Nimbus Sextet – playing at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, BBC Radio Scotland and The New Morning in Paris. He is also touring with his brand new project Mahuki and a regular contributor to the Edinburgh Jazz scene with performances in various outfits at the Jazz Bar and performances all around the city with his jazz trio paying tribute to the Great American Songbook.
